Development Program Goals
- Develop player motor skills, social skills and soccer skills.
- Create a fun, soccer related experience that the students enjoy.
- Build self esteem in each and every student.
- Competition is kept to a minimum because players at this age have a difficult time putting competition in perspective.
Pre-Kindergarten
Our Pre-K Soccer Program is a fun way to introduce your child to soccer. The program is specifically designed for children between the ages of 3.5 - 5 years old in Easton and surrounding towns. This is an introduction to soccer…it is FUN, FUN and more FUN! Our creative approach will help children and parents develop a love for the game. Our goal is to deliver a fun learning environment that develops kids physically, engages kids mentally and teaches the joy of physical participation. We guarantee plenty of smiles from both players and parents! We encourage parents to assist and join the practices.
Kindergarten
The Developmental Kindergarten Program is a co-ed program, which provides a skills environment for the first half of the session and developmentally appropriate small field format for the second half of the session. The program is available in the fall and spring seasons and takes place on Saturday mornings.
1st Grade and 2nd Grade
Easton Soccer offers professional Saturday morning programs in the fall and spring for 1st and 2nd Grade players. The objectives for our Saturday AM Programs are for our young players to develop comfort with the ball and to familiarize themselves with correct motor skill movement patterns! Players will participate in a non-competitive scrimmage as well. Note that this Program is run by professional coaches!
The players are separated by gender and play with the 1st and 2nd Graders. In the spring, all 1st and 2nd Grader genders practice together but are separated by gender during scrimmages.
