Register & Attend Player Assessment Day

WELCOME TO THE 2023-2024 EASTON SOCCER TRAVEL SOCCER REGISTRATION

Registration Details

DEADLINE: Wednesday, January 31. 

SEASON(S): Spring 

GRADES: 9th and 10th

UNIFORMS: Only new players or players requiring another size will need to purchase. 

REGISTRATION FEE (excludes uniform cost): $150

REFUNDS:   Refer to the Travel Refund Policy below.

 

PLAYER PLACEMENT / ROSTERS

Player Placement is based on a number of factors, including player evaluation day results, prior team placement, and coach evaluations. The number of teams created will be based on the number of registrations and tryouts in each age group.  Easton Youth Soccer is committed to rostering all players who tryout whenever possible.  To provide an environment with equal levels of safety (player to coach ratio), development, competitiveness and alignment with South Shore Soccer League roster limits, Easton Youth Soccer follows the following roster sizes for all age groups:

  • U10 Boys & Girls (7v7) - 10 Minimum / 13 Maximum
  • U12 Boys & Girls (9v9) - 12 Minimum / 16 maximum
  • U14 Boys & Girls (11v11) - 14 Minimum / 18 Maximum
  • U17/U19 Boys & Girls (11v11) - 16 Minimum / 18 Maximum

    These ranges provide Easton Youth Soccer with the opportunity to adjust team sizes to accommodate all players that have registered and tried out.  Once the assessment day is complete and coach and professional evaluators results are in, rosters will be set. Players are placed on rosters according to these evaluations. Easton Youth Soccer may offer an optional practice player placement if necessary depending on the factors noted above in place of cutting a player.  

CODE OF CONDUCT AND ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY

Please read through the Code of Conduct and Zero Tolerance Policy under the waivers. The Code was updated in 2023 and is also available at Mass Youth Soccer Association.

Refund Policy

In-house programs refunds

After Registration is Processed 100% of registration fee
One Week prior to in-town program 50% of registration fee
After first in-town clinic or game No Refunds

Travel Program Refunds

After registration is processed 50% of registration fee, less $25 processing charge
Once teams have been announced No refunds will be issued

Exceptions to the above refund policies may be made on a case by case basis ( e.g., in cases where a player is deemed medically unfit/unable to play or the player is not  placed on a travel team).  A conflict with another sport does not trigger a refund. No refunds will be issued once travel teams are announced. A full refund of registration fees will be issued to players not placed on a team due to space limitations. Players sustaining a season ending injury before the halfway point in the season may be issued a 50% refund. All exceptions must be approved by the President and Treasurer and any injuries require a doctor’s letter.

COVID19 REFUND POLICY

Should the season be cancelled due to COVID-19 by the state or Easton board of health, you will receive a pro-rata refund of your registration fees for any of the sessions not held.
