We are excited to host the U.S. Soccer Federation’s “Grassroots 4 v 4 In-Person Course” this coming March.
This course is a great introduction for our parents interested or considering having a role in coaching. It can also serve as a refresher for our experienced coaches. It explores the US Soccer philosophy, and explains the fundamentals of why and how we do what we do. The course will be lead by Easton’s own Director of Coaching, John Barata.
There are only 11 spots remaining in the coming session for this course. Please consider moving forward by enhancing or refreshing your coaching arsenal for this spring.
Course details are below:
4 v 4 In-Person Course is a four-hour session that builds on the principles covered in U.S. Soccer’s Introduction to the Grassroots Coaching Module. Specifically, candidates will learn about U.S. Soccer’s Grassroots Coaching Education Philosophy, Play-Practice-Play Methodology, the Six Tasks of a Coach, and the characteristics of players aged 6-8. The valuable takeaway is that each candidate will be asked to reflect on their experiences to develop action steps for personal growth.
