Who is John Barata?

Easton Soccer is unique in our commitment to player and coach education. Eighteen years ago, we hired John Barata as our director of coaching to provide professional training for our players and coaches. Employing a director of coaching is very unique for a town-based sports program which has made Easton one of the premier soccer communities in Massachusetts. John has extensive professional education in youth soccer which has helped Easton Soccer be on the forefront of providing training and education to our families. We’re sure you will continue to benefit from our commitment towards delivering the best soccer product.

Coach John Barata

John Barata has been the cornerstone of the Easton Soccer program since 2005. John came to us early in his coaching career and has helped place Easton Soccer on the map with his expertise and dedication to our families. Easton Soccer’s core values are to develop players and coaches, which John provides unmeasurable guidance towards. His professionalism and knowledge have made Easton Soccer one of the premier town soccer organizations in the state of Massachusetts. We pride ourselves as being one of the very few youth-town-sports organizations to dedicate resources towards a professional director of coaching. We are sure our investment towards players and coaches will be realized by you and your family.

In his free time, John coaches our Oliver Ames Boys Soccer team, runs Legacy Soccer Club & The Beautiful Game Soccer Academy, and spends time his family.
