This summer is a great time to take the Grade 8 Referee Course if you're interested in refereeing next fall and spring.  Easton Soccer is need of referees and will have numerous opportunities next fall and spring to referee games.

This summer there are many open Grade 8 Entry Level Courses including local course locations in Stoughton 7/14, Norwood 7/20, Natick 7/27 & 8/24, Mansfield 8/3,  and Raynham 8/24.

To register for a course the potential referee must be 14 years of age.

Youth referees are vital to the participation of soccer and there is a VERY STRONG demand for licensed referees. If you are at least 13 years of age you can take the Grassroots Referee classes. There are many opportunities to referee in both the fall and spring through South Shore Soccer and other affiliated leagues.

Grassroots Referee Program

USA Soccer has revamped the referee program, replacing the Grade 8 referee program with the Grassroots program. Participants can begin taking the sessions when they turn 13 years of age. The first session is online learning the Laws of the Game and other mechanics of the game. The second in-person session will provide on field experience.  Referees must be 14 years of age to being refereeing.
